Welcome to Greenlake

Once a glacial lake, Greenlake is now a beloved urban park in north-central Seattle. It is renowned for its 2.8-mile paved loop trail, which serves as a vibrant, year-round hub for walkers, runners, cyclists, and skaters.

The park spans 259 acres and offers a multitude of opportunities including coffee shops, restaurants, water & land activities and wild life

The lake permits stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing, with local outfitters offering seasonal boat rentals.

The surrounding parklands feature tennis and pickleball courts, baseball and soccer fields, and a public outdoor pool (Evans Pool).

Duck Island (officially the Waldo J. Dahl Game Reserve) is located in the center of the lake and is a designated sanctuary for diverse waterfowl.
